Elsie Zambia quits Music
The talented singer from Lukulu who blew up on the music scene and touched many people with her beautiful voice has today announced her earlier retirement from music via her Facebook page.
She wrote;
Hey fam..😊
I don’t think there’ll ever be any nice format of relaying this news to you all. Firstly, I’d like to thank you all for being there for me throughout this journey, it wouldn’t have made sense if you all weren’t part of it.🥺 I wish I could mention everyone who’s helped me but you’re too many so all I can say is may God bless you all abundantly, you’re all amazing.
On this day 27th July, 2023, I announce that I’ve stopped music and this is so due to reasons I myself cannot explain but I’m definitely at peace with. To those that look up to me and those that believe in me please forgive me.🥺🙏 This is something that I’ve thought about for a long time and I ask for your full support as I embark on this new journey discovering life in it’s entirety. Music is part of me and I can’t deny that you’ll be seeing me singing on this page from time to time.😊 All I’m saying is that I seize to do music as a career.
I hope I don’t lose the friends I gained as Elsie Zambia the musician as I become just Elsie a.k.a Akalemwa.😊
Whatever the consequence is , just know that I’m really grateful.🙏
